In FIVE short months, my wife and I will have been married ten years. Yay to her for putting up with my ass that long. I know I couldn't, if I were her.
At any rate, I'm trying to come up with something spectacular to do for/with her. It's gonna be tricky, as she doesn't miss much. She's not a jewelry freak (thank goodness), nor is she really into material stuff, so it makes it hard to get anything for her, that's within the norm. When she was a child, into teenage years, she got to go Hawaii with her family, and has always talked about going again. We've talked about it, but have co-declined the thoughts, knowing it's expense. She has been on a cruise, as well, and would like to do that again, also. But for the same reasons as Hawaii, we've never put much into chasing those wants.
This coming year may be different, if I can pull it off. I want to keep it a secret until near last moment. (I'm not worried about her seeing this, as it's new, unknown, and well, not followed by anyone; more so just my thoughts on display, for me! LOL)
I'll have to start price-shopping now, to see which will be a better bang for the buck.. Staye tuned...
