U.S.P.S vs. FedEx

I often thought about the differences between shipping differences (times, cost, etc.) between the two. Monday, I found out. I shipped two identical packages to an address in Texas. Both were packaged, weighed, and measured the exact same way. Package "A" = Fedex Ground
Package "B" = USPS Priority Mail (standard/cheapest)
Weight: 2lbs. (each, identical contents)
Package Type: Thick Envelope

Price: Fedex= $10.88
USPS= $5.26

The USPS package got there Wednesday. The Fedex one, well, hasn't arrived yet. It's supposed to be delivered Friday. Twice the price, 1/2 as fast. Amazing, huh?
